A member of Australia's ninth-place Volleyball teams at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and 2002 World Championships, Barnett was Team Schweriner SC that captured the 2001-02 German National League Champions First Division title. She was selected as Australia's Player of the Year and Player�s Player of the Year in 2002.
