Baba Adhav Biography
Baba was born on June 1st, 1930, in Pune, Maharashtra.
His father, Pandurang, ran a lentil distribution business, but it shut down during the economic depression of 1930. Baba’s father passed away when he was just 3 months old.
He and his four siblings (one older brother and three sisters) were raised by their mother, Babutai Pandurang Adhav, in her family’s home in Nana Peth, Pune.
They were supported by her brother, Bapusaheb Zende.
Educational Details
Baba attended primary school at a public school run by the Pune Municipal Corporation and later went to Shivaji Maratha School for his higher education.
In 1952, he graduated from Tarachand Ramnath Ayurveda College and began practicing medicine from his home in Nana P
